Great experience opening a new hotel in Dubai for the Marriott Company!!! It was a pleasure working for the biggest hotel company in the world especially in the Dubai market. Events, Marketing and Public Relations made me totally focus on promoting the entire hotel including three restaurants by Michelin starred chefs which helped me to gain knowledge in the F&B field. The two months of training prior to the opening were also a very important part of the whole process. The Grand opening party with Gwen Stefan’s concert and other V.I.P. guests from all over the world. Numerous fabulous events were created for the launch of the Hotel in Dubai and I had the pleasure of being the person responsible of the creation and execution of some of those events. I can say that I learned a lot from the Directors which always gave me the opportunity to work autonomously, this lead to excellent performances that always obtained the guests and the managements’ full satisfaction. We were ranked among the top 10 hotels in Dubai in less than a year. AMAZING JOB...

Organizational skills...A luxury resort only for adults guests, in a little Spanish paradise. In charge of the coordination details related to promotion, organization and execution of events such as entertainment programs, conferences, weddings, music sessions, F&B activities, business meetings. Always interacting with guests to give information or resolve their problems. Short time experience with pre-notice to the hotel before signing the contract.

I was contacted by my previous area manager to create a new entertainment project in this hotel and without doubt it was a success. After having a look at the resort I realized that it was possible to create new programs full of different kinds of entertainment, guaranteeing fun every day because the THB Tropical Island is a spectacular resort of 102,00 m2 located in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, designed especially for families and groups of friends with 16 swimming pools, sports facilities, football-volley-tennis fields, bars and themed restaurants. It was not difficult for me to double the entertainment program, introducing numerous new activities, using the different departments and exploiting locations that nobody had used before.

This experience was my "UNIVERSITY". This job shaped my professional profile, teaching me how to meet the goals that were expected of me by the guests and management. As a member of the Cruise Staff I was responsible for hosting and providing a varied range of entertainment, social and leisure opportunities geared towards adults and families in order to enhance their cruise experience. This department is not in charge of children an sport activities. By contract I was also the Bingo Manager with the high responsibility of leading game sessions and finance control.

"THE JOB EVERYBODY WOULD LIKE TO DO ONCE IN LIFE"
I still remember the tears at the end of the season because it was the end of an incredible job. For the first time in the history of the hotel, we won the first place with Tripadvisor for best hotel in the summer of 2013 against 250 Lloret De Mar hotels. I am still in contact with the owner, who says that the merit of that victory was solely down to me. Thinking back to some of my creations surely the "White Night Show" was one of the most successful, followed by the "Fire Show" inside the pool. Sometimes the shows were also watched by non-hotel guests as these events were famous throughout Lloret de Mar.
